JUST A PRETTY BANNER

Here are some example spectra illustrating a range of redshifts and magnitudes taken during one of the earliest observing runs. Data quality has improved very significantly since these data were obtained.


These 10 spectra were selected to be of better than average quality and are drawn from across the full redshft range of the survey. They are therefore better regarded as `example QSOs' than as samples of the 2QZ. They are certainly not however our very best spectra.

They are available as a postscript file as well.

They were also used to produce the restframe plot which shows how these spectra might appear if they were in the local near-by Universe.
